NEW PROUT 70 OWNER COMMENTS 
The boat sails very well for a big cat. I have had her up to about 17 knots but and I am sure that with the right conditions she could break 20, remember my boat is heavier than the current models... Under power I have punched her to 13.5 knots but imagine she could do 14, I tend to motor around at 2000 rpm and get about 9 knots which is just fine.
She sails up to about 40 to 45 degrees off the wind... in fact she sails better to windward than I would have expected. Off the wind, look out she really comes into her own then. At anchor it's a dream and having sailed her about 250 miles from Thailand and I can honestly say, it's a very nice way to travel. My only regret... not enough time to use her more often!
